Account Information
When you register on YASCuts, we collect your first and last name, email, phone number, and preferred language. Salon owners also provide business data such as salon name, address, and service information.
Booking Data
We store details of bookings you make — including the salon, barber, services, date, time, and payment method (cash, KNET, or card). We do not store full card numbers. Payments are processed by third-party providers according to their security protocols.
Usage Information
We collect anonymized information about how you interact with YASCuts — the pages you visit, search queries, and feature usage. This data helps us improve the platform and cannot be used to identify you directly.
Reviews and Content
Any reviews, comments, or replies you post are stored and displayed publicly on the platform. Please do not include sensitive personal information in review text.
How We Use Your Information
To Provide the Service
Your information is used to authenticate your account, process bookings, send booking confirmations and reminders, and enable communication between customers and salons.
To Improve YASCuts
Aggregated and anonymized usage data helps us understand which features are most valuable and where improvement is needed. We use this data to prioritize product development.
To Communicate with You
We may send you transactional emails (booking confirmations, password resets) and, with your consent, promotional messages about new features or offers or nearby salons. You can unsubscribe at any time.
For Safety and Compliance
We may use your information to detect fraud, investigate reported content, enforce our Terms of Service, and comply with applicable Kuwaiti law.
Data Sharing and Disclosure
With Salon Partners
When you make a booking, we share your name and phone number with the relevant salon to enable them to manage the appointment. Salon owners are contractually required not to use this data beyond fulfilling the booking.
With Service Providers
We work with select third-party providers for services such as email, analytics, and cloud hosting. These providers process your data on our behalf under strict data processing agreements.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose information to government authorities or law enforcement if required by Kuwaiti law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the public.
We Will Not Sell Your Data
YASCuts does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
Data Security
Technical Measures
All data transmitted between your device and YASCuts is encrypted using TLS (HTTPS). Passwords are stored as secure one-way hashes using bcrypt — we never store passwords in plain text.
Access Controls
Access to personal data is restricted to YASCuts employees and contractors who need it to perform their duties. All employees with access undergo privacy training.

Objection to Processing
